Our Story

It began with a dream—simple, heartfelt, and hers.

My mother, at 50, decided she wanted to learn candle making. She didn’t see it as a business idea or a hobby. It was something more personal—a quiet calling to create beauty with her own hands. She was excited, nervous, and full of hope. She took money from me for a workshop she found. But the workshop never happened. They took the money… and never called her back.

I watched the disappointment on her face—the kind that doesn’t come from losing money, but from having your trust broken. Still, something about candles lingered in her spirit. She never spoke of it bitterly. In fact, she kept dreaming.

That dream stayed with me too.

Senara Candles was born not out of success, but out of an unfulfilled wish. A wish I, Rishal Gavin Veigas, promised myself I’d bring to life—one flame, one scent, one story at a time.

Each candle we create is a quiet tribute to her courage. To her desire to learn something new, even when life had already asked so much of her. To the soft strength of a woman who never let disappointment steal her light.
